sign explaining border is closed

The coronavirus illustrates the stupidity of open borders and the wisdom of those who have long advocated secure borders for the United States.
*No nation can survive absent secure borders.
*No sovereign nation can remain sovereign absent secure borders.
*No nation can protect the economic or physical health of its people absent secure borders.
*No nation should allow its cities or states to undermine federal law by proclaiming themselves a sanctuary for those who broke our immigration laws to be here. Now Demoncrats are passing a bill in the House to aid illegals with your tax dollars even before Tennesseans get a dime. Wake up AMERICA! The OPEN Border policies are watering down our rights and freedoms by allowing more illegal immigrant dependents to illegally enter our country. Our electoral representation is being decreased this very year to sanctuary states. We need to BUILD THE WALL! Support ICE, and End Sanctuary cities and states.
Article 4, Sec. 4 of The United States Constitution: “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion…”┬áThe current Legislature has not only failed to protect against invasion but has failed to provide for the Common Defense. They have contributed to a Less Perfect Union, Established In-Justice, and made a Mockery of Domestic Tranquility. Dereliction of Duty should be charged to the Democrat leadership for failure to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America for which they swore to uphold when it was in their power to do so!

I shall not be charged with Dereliction of Duty for failure to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America; therefore, no immigration bill that lands on my desk will have my support absent money to secure the borders of the United States.

  • Although I agree to a point on having strong(er) border security, is a border wall, curtain, fencing the answer. If we build a wall across the southern border do we not then emulate what the USSR was almost 50 years. The key might be to stream line the immigration process. As far as illegals being in the country, they are and they do the jobs we Americans don’t want to do because the wages are low, ie. field workers, hotel cleaning staff. We used to live in south Florida, not far from Mar-A-Lago and other wealthy full or partime residents, even they at times had illegals working for them in some capacity.

    • Thank you Joe for your comment. We have border points of entry now, yet they are being bypassed so as to not comply with our laws. A physical border would ensure more entry is processed legally to ensure equity of us citizens that want to maintain our equities whatever they may be. You are correct that we need to staff those positions others do not want. One thing is for sure, most feel we can not maintain the current trend. We hate that illegals get more free government taxpayer services than our citizens get. Way too many get away with crimes that should be punished more. We, also have a responsibility to those we allow to enter this country are treated respectfully according to our laws. Illegal immigrants will not let anyone know when they are being mistreated or taken advantage of. Let’s take one thing at a time and fix it. There is way too much division right now. Thank you once again.
